The first step to starting your personal programme is the initial consultation.
This is a chance for us to get to know each other, and for you to ask any questions or voice any concerns you may have. It enables your coach to create a training programme specifically tailored to your needs.
During the consultation we will discuss:
Goal setting: It is very important to have goals and targets, they not only help to create your personal programme but offer motivation and focus throughout. Don’t worry if you’re not sure of your goals yet; during the consultation we will discuss what you want to achieve, and the driving factors behind this. By the end of the consultation you will have a specific and attainable goal to reach for.
Lifestyle: Life is hectic and time is not always readily available. During the consultation we will take a look at your lifestyle, your current commitments, and what time you have available. We can then plan training sessions at a time that work for you.
Fitness testing: To get an idea of your current level of physical fitness, we will run through a series of fitness tests. This is nothing strenuous; it is an opportunity for your coach to gain quantitative data that will help create your personal training programme. We will also use it as a benchmark when we regularly review your progress.
After your consultation your coach will be able to create a personal fitness programme specifically designed to fit around your lifestyle.
